Sandra Reeves is a great example of an older person still willing and able to work. As a caregiver for Home Instead Hemel Hempstead and Chilterns, Sandra visits her elderly clients regularly and helps them with their shopping, cooking, and other daily routines, assisting them to remain living independently in their own homes. She also provides them with the companionship that elderly people so often need.
Sandra, 61, worked in office administration for 45 years. When she was forced to take redundancy, she knew that she wanted to continue working in a career that was worthwhile and meaningful; she knew she wanted to help people.
